Sweet Heart Aviary

Lola and Beaureguard. This is one of our scarlet pair's first meeting. When I put Beau in he ran to the bottom of the cage, Lola immediately ran to the bottom of the cage and started feeding Beau. They are now working the box, and living together as man and wife and building a nice home for their upcoming children. No cake, but plenty of birdie bread and dancing!
Dancing!
Tango and Mango are our Blue and Gold Pair. Tango was rasied by my best friend Carrie and was a great loving pet until Mango entered the picture. It was love at first sight. They are now happily married, building their nest and looking forward to raising their children. The first of which goes to Carrie. P.S. Thank you Carrie for allowing me to give them this opportunity to be parents. They are so happy and funny together.
Max and Betty
This is the biggest most beautiful pair of scarlet macaws, Max is 1700 grams and Betty is 1550 grams. They are another natural pair bond She took one look at Max and that was all she wrote. The sit and sleep together. When I take them out for a shower, or to play on the flight porch, I have one on each arm beacuse they refuse to be seperated. (Scary for me HaHa) They are actively working their nest box. Here they are enjoying drying off in the sun after a shower.
Bo Bo and Bandi. These are our pretty pair of Alexandrine parakeets. They have been building their nest and we expect babies this spring.
Sampson and Delilah. This is our red fronted macaw pair. These birds came here in Janaury of 2008. They passed their health check and are eating everthing under the sun. If you look close you can see new feathers growing in. So far they have not plucked any feathers since they have been here. I have them on a pluckers diet, with plenty of toys and phone books to shred instead of themselves. Keep checking for updated photos. If I forget to update the photos, please remind me :)
Picture taken approximately February 1, 2008
Delilah has tons of pin feathers coming in. Sampson has a few under his wings and at the back of his neck.
