Ayame

Ayame Sohma is possessed by the vengeful spirit of the snake. He is flamboyant, fun, and sells dresses. That's right: dresses. For men. He has long silver hair that goes down to about his waist, and he can be seen braiding it at certain times throughout the manga/anime. He also has really awesome yellow eyes that are totally sweet.  He is the older brother of Yuki Sohma, and they don't really get along, having not seen each other for years. There is also a ten year difference between each of the two. THAT might be a part of it. There are suspicions that Ayame and Shigure are having a relationship together, but nothing has been confirmed. They do (around Yuki and Kyo especially) make jokes about them sleeping with each other (but very subtly, mind you). For example: In volume 4, when Ayame was staying at Shigure's house, Kyo had awoken to find Ayame sleeping in his bed. He later asks, "Why didn't you sleep in Shigure's room like last night?!". Ayame asks (with a very dissappointed look on his face) "But Gure-San would have kept me up all night!". Shigure casually replies with, "Now, now. Not in front of the children...". We're not entirely sure if they're just joking, or if they actually mean it. Only time will tell...

 

 

Shigure

 

Shigure is one of the oldest members of the Sohma family (but he's only 27...what the hell?). He is possessed by the spirit of the Dog (Go Dog! It's the best! It's the year of the sog right now! WOOT). He is always picking on Kyo and Yuki Sohma and is a pervert (which is why I love him!). He is a novelist, and sometimes writes some...not so...appropriate things. His hair is black and goes long enough that it kind of goes around his neck (I'm horrible at this- just look at the damn picture up there). He has the cutest big brown eyes I have ever seen! Like I said before, it is rumored that him and Ayame (his nickname is Aaya) are having a secret relationship or something. I am beginning to doubt this, because Shigure always goes around singing about "high-school girls". Here are some lyrics to Shigure's VERY meaningful songs (I hope you are touched):

Gee, those were so touching! Shigure is a music genius. Anyway, back to information: Shigure appears to have some feelings for Akito Sohma, the head of the Sohma family. WHY, SHII-CHAN, WHY?! Akito is a bastard, he should DIE. DIE A HORRIBLE, PAINFULL DEATH! *Cough* Um, yeah. Uh...LOOK OVER THERE! *Runs*

 

 

Hatori

Hatori (Called Tori-San, Haa-San, or Hari by the other Mabudachi's. Heehee...Mabudachi's...that's a fun word...) is possesed by the spirit of the Dragon, but turns into a frickin' seahorse when weak or hugged by a member of the opposite gender. He is very self-concious about this, and told Shigure once when he was about to tell Tohru about it, "Say another word and I'll tell the entire publishing agency every embaressing thing you've done since you were four." Hatori is very serious and you rarely see him smile about anything. He has blackish-y, brownish-y, hair that covers up his left eye. He is the Sohma Family doctor but is normally only taking care of Akito, who is very weak. When he was younger, he met a woman named Kana. They fell in love, and even when she found out about the curse she STILL loved him. That's dedication! Akito Bastard- I mean, Sohma- was furious when Hatori asked if they could be married. He hurt Hatori's left eye and blamed Kana for it. Hatori is now almost entirely blind in his left eye- that's why he grew his hair out to cover it. It DOES look like a normal eye though. It's all...shmexy. Anyway, he was forced to erase Kana's memories. In the anime he says he doesn't want to fall in love again so he can forever have the feeling he had with her, but in the manga he says hat he will someday fall in love again. I really enjoyed the manga-version. Didn't you? But in both, he always looks annoyed around the two other Mabudachi's. He's so sweet. *Loves Tori-San*
