   restaurants. There are 4 golf courses within the borough including the world

St Anne's, (2 miles),  Blackpool with all its attractions 5 miles. Lythams own train station can easily transport you to Blackpool or Preston etc.

The cottage is ideally situated for the Lancashire Coastal Path, which can be accessed 400 yds away, and also for birdwatching on the Ribble Estuary where  1/4 million wading birds overwinter. The Fairhaven RSPB centre is approx 1.5 miles away. www.rspb.org.uk/england/northwest/conservation/ribble

Further afield the Ribble & Lune valleys, Beacon Fell and the Forest of Bowland are all within 40 minutes drive.

The Lake district can be reached in 1 hour.
