Lyrebird Cottage Bribie Island is a cute 3 bedroom house within metres to the beaches & foreshore of the Pumicestone Passage.
On the front of the house is a Navy mural depicting Moreton Bay. Lyrebird Cottage is airconditioned and has a TV, video, DVD, playstation (on request) and a well stacked bookshelf of interesting books and DVDs. Also there is a doll's house and some little kid's toys and games. The house is just around the corner from the new Aldi store and within walking distance of the Bribie Shopping Centre where there is Woolworths, Target and a heap of specialty stores. You can walk or ride to the jetty at Bongaree and the beautiful 'Brennan Park'. And you can bring your pets (the back yard is fully fenced). There is a dog friendly beach not far from the house. There is a washing machine and BBQ; undercover for 1 car but plenty of room for extra cars, boat, caravan. And a lockable large shed. There are 2 bedrooms with a double bed in each and the sunroom has a bunk bed and a settee with 2 single mattresses. (So it can sleep 8 as is or you can bring extra beds if you need). You will have to bring your own sheets, pillows, towels, toiletries, although linen can be supplied for an extra charge. Bring your own food from home or you can shop at the local IGA, Woolworths, Aldi or you can dine out at the many restaurants, clubs and take-a-ways. We ask that you leave the house the same way you found it - neat and tidy (use the vacuum and broom).
