What's Included

The price of a cruise includes your sleeping accomodations, most meals and beverages, and entertainment in the theatre or showroom.

Your sleeping accomodations will be either an inside cabin (no windows) or an outside cabin (porthole, window, balcony, etc).

Although policies vary from cruiseline to cruiseline, you can count on breakfast, lunch, and dinner being included in the price.  Some cruiselines offer optional dining venues that have a cover charge of $20-$25 per person.

The complimentary beverages most often include coffee, tea, and lemonade with your meals.  Tropical and specialty beverages will be extra.

Nightly entertainment can be anything from a comedian, a large-scale musical, or a Las Vegas style show.  There are usually 2 showings, an early and a late.

How To Make A Reservation

Decide on your cruiseline, itinerary, and sailing date.

Decide if you would like an inside or outside cabin.  We would be pleased to make recommendations and offer prices for each category.

Decide if you are traveling as a couple or family or as part of a group (booking 8 cabins or more).

We will advise you the current prices, policies, and deposit requirements.

Most cruiselines require a deposit ranging from $100 per passenger or more at the time of making the reservation.  We will advise you what your specific cruiseline's policy is, and what your final payment date is.

We will email a passenger reservation form.  This will help us gather important information.  You can email it back or make arrangements to fax it back.

You then provide your credit card number (directions will be given).

We will advise the cancellation policies, and we highly encourage you purchase travel insurance to protect your investment.

Other Info

There are unique features associated with cruising.

First, almost immediately after leaving the embarkation port, you will be required to participate in a safety drill.  Based on your cabin assignment, you will don a life preserver stored in your cabin and proceed to a specified point on the ship.  This drill is a maritime requirement.

At the end of your cruise you will be highly encouraged (if not expected) to tip several staff members.  It is common to tip your waiter, your cabin steward, and the dining room maitre d among others.  We can direct you to your cruiseline's tipping or gratuity guidelines.  We can also include your gratuities as part of your cruise purchase.  That gives you the freedom of not having to carry much cash onboard and the sense of completion, that all details have been taken care of before you even leave home.

Although cruiselines are offering flexible dining choices, you may be asked if you would like "main" or "second" dining.  Main refers to an earlier dining schedule.  Second or Late is a later dining schedule.  Again, we will advise you accordingly per your selected cruise.
