Bikes & Planes

This is my first attempt at creating a website so bear with me. Its also why i'm using a free web site creator, which is probably plastered with adverts for useless things to keep it free. Also as i have no commercial interest in this site and don't even know if anyone will look at it, the cheaper the better.

I've created this site as a quick and easy reference to taking a bicycle on a plane, after searching several airlines websites for information about taking my bike to Scotland on a plane, and if i was looking for the information i expect others are as well, well here it is all on one site.

By clicking on the letters on the bar above you can view the information i have taken from that airlines website.

The information contained on this site is to be used as a guide only and not to be taken as gospel, what you see will have been dug up from the relevant airlines website at some time or other. The information is easily obtainable but can be extremely time consuming to find and collate, but at the moment i'm in a position where i have an abundance of time with nothing to do whilst sat at my desk at work, so thats why i'm creating this site. As a rough idea of the amount of work required, it took me just under 4 hours to collect all the airlines names, then i have to find there web sites and then the relevant information. I have searched over 200 airlines websites operating out of the Uk to get this information, but as you can see not everybody publishes there information regarding the carrying of bikes on there websites.
