July Challenges - Winners!

So I decided not to write reviews for these 3 challenges. In the end I had 22 Dancing Challenge entries, 8 Vitamin String Quartet entries, and 6 Frank Sinatra entries. All were really unique and I wish I could give awards to everyone. But I can’t, so I’m just giving out awards to the very best ones. I am not explaining anything in reviews this time so if you feel slighted you may email me at pemk7@aol.com and ask why you didn’t win but one of the entries did win and I can try to explain my reasoning to you.

Frank Sinatra Challenge Winners!
This one was the easiest to judge so I did it first. WOW I loved all the entries. CrystalRane - I don't have a working link for your video so while I THINK your video was supposed to tie for 2nd place, I don't really know, and therefore I couldn't make you an award. If you contact me soon, like within the next few days or so, I will make you an award though, because I do feel bad and you definitely deserved one, I just am not 100% sure for what place. LOL. Anyway all of the entries were so simple and sweet and for the first time I'm actually doing a FIRST PLACE tie. Sorry, but both or your entries were SO perfect that I couldn't resist. Some of the awards are linked to the winning videos. ;) The two that aren't - hollywoodgirl2005's and loopyallie's - are because they aren't on a public streaming site at the moment - hollywoodgirl2005 sent me a download link that I don't think she wanted me to share and loopyallie's is on private on her YouTube account. But the rest are available for streaming and are GREAT, so enjoy them!
Vitamin String Quartet Challenge Winners!
So this one was a very tough one to judge since some of you made AU videos, some made cannon tributes, some included LOTS of audio and voiceovers, others none, etc. But basically I judged based on how well you told whatever story you tried to tell, I added points for really great timing to the beats or cool manipulations in AU videos, I removed points for audio inclusions that were sloppy and started or cut-off in the middle of sentences and when the voiceover volumes varied TOO much and were sometimes too low to hear over the music and other times too loud, etc. I wasn't too harsh on the voiceover thing, just if it was noticeably bad I might have took off 1 point or something... Also effects were judged a little and stuff like that too... Plus most were for fandoms I know and a few weren't which made it harder to be objective but I really did try my best. The best videos won, the worst videos didn't, I tried my best to be fair. But seriously, because DallasID never got back to me, I only was judging 11 videos this round, but to be honest it was a REALLY tough choice for me, I wanted to give all of you first place because your videos were all so great. LOL. But I couldn't. Still, even if you didn't win first or second your video was still amazing. Seriously, I loved all the videos, the competition was just VERY steep. Again, I am no longer writing reviews for challenges, but if you're confused as to why your video got the award it did, you can send me an email and I'll try to explain it to you. Everyone - thank you so much for your entries and your patience in waiting for the awards. :D
I ended up with a LOT of ties and of course everyone who entered (except DallasID because I couldn't watch your video) got an award, you waited long enough, it was the least I could do.

Sorry but for this challenge I am NOT making everyone a specialized award. There were a lot of you and all of your videos were GREAT. They really were. Per usual the competition was extremely stiff and made my life difficult. LOL. So if you didn't win it doesn't mean I didn't love your entry. But I decided to only make awards for the ones that simply blew my mind. ;) However I did make a Thank You For Entering banner if you didn't place, so you may save that to your computer if you'd like.
A few of you made videos that my notes from almost a year ago when I started judging tell me would have probably placed had the links not been disabled for various reasons (YouTube copyright, videos removed by the users, etc). So I made you guys "Thank you for entering" banners too. ;)
I couldn't decide for the top places, the videos were all so perfect, so I made ties for first, second, and third. LOL. Sorry. ;) And 2nd is actually a 3-way-tie because I SERIOUSLY could not decide. Plus I added 3 honorable mentions before all of the Thank You For Entering awards. ;) You guys all rock.
