Therianthropy is the belief that all or part of the soul is that of a non-human animal. It derives from the Greek words therion meaning 'beast' and anthrōpos meaning 'man'.
I am a therianthrope of the lupine variety and I wanted a place to display my thoughts on some of the experiences I've had in being an animal person. Am I crazy? Probably. But it's something that is very personal for me and which I take seriously. It's a combination of spiritual, mental and personal behaviors that have led me to believe that I have a wolf soul in a human body. Do you have to believe me? No, but I hope that in reading some of the things here you will gain an understanding as to why I believe what I do.
I chose the name "Lupine Instincts" for various reasons. I am a wolf therian, or Canis Lupus, hence the 'lupine' title. And since animals survive using their instints which are a natural, ingrained part of them, I felt that 'instincts' was a good choice as it would express my inner thoughts regarding my therianthropy.
