The lotus seat that holds my soul
and shelters it from sight
draws back its curtains, after dark,
in vain, to let in light.
As in this night I sun my face,
a tremor rocks the bones
and summons sleep to give each breath
the heaviest of tones.
I, Kazuki Mishima (三島和希) am an American student, amateur artist, and n00b-of-all-trades. I dabble in prose, poetry, prose-poetry, music, photography, photomanipulation, acting, and interactive fiction. I like food.
Kazuki Mishima is not my real name. If you know my real name, feel free to look me up on Facebook.
Politically, I'm not affiliated with any party, but I know where I stand on most major issues in my country and if I created my own political platform, it would be called the Social Responsibility Party. It would oppose abortion and the death penalty and emphasize the government's responsibility to all citizens, especially the most needy. It would support immigration reforms to help immigrants obtain citizenship in a timely way.
