My View: Twilight is one of the best fiction books I've ever read. I was really reluctant to read it-because I'm not really a vampire novel fan. But when I finally did read it-I loved it! The characters are deep, well-developed, and lovable. I fell in love right away with Edward! (It seems that everyone else has, too). This is one book you can't afford to NOT read.
Synopsis: Bella Swan exhiles herself to the rainy Forks, WA so that her mother can travel with her stepfather. She is determined to be miserable there. Unfortunately-she falls in love with the beautiful, stunning, gorgeous, and exquisite Edward Cullen. But, also unfortunately, he is the most dangerous choice for a boyfriend she could ever make. What with his inhuman speed and beauty, Bella is sure that he is something more than human. But if he IS indeed....something else.....can Bella just walk away from him?
New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
My View: Okay, I'll admit it. I like New Moon.....better than Twilight! I know that seems odd, but I love this book and it will probably be my second favorite book in the series once Eclipse (Book #3) comes out. It is thicker than Twilight-but don't be alarmed! New Moon is just as soul-achingly riveting as Twilight. Though I must admit-not as fast -paced. New Moon is a lot sadder than Twilight-seeing as Edward comes in only at the first three chapter and the last four or so of the book. But don't cry about thsis fact too much-becasuse you get to meet someone else. Someone who only had a small part in Twilight. And that someone is Jacob Black. And you'll fall in love with him, too. Because of his good-humour, faithful nature to Bella, and looks. In fact-if you're like me-you might even love him more than Edward! I know, I know this seems impossible. But just read it, okay?
Synopsis: Bella Swan is in for a whole lot of trouble when she cuts her finger at her birthday party, and Jasper lunges for her. She survives-Edward is able to get him away and everything SEEMS fine after that. But it all crashes and burns when Edward takes Bella for a short walk in the woods-and breaks up with her. To put it lightly. Then he dissapears from Bella's life altogether. Will Bella ever survive this deep, unending wound that has left a whole in her heart? And is the whole world, including Victoria and the Volturi, out to get her?
