Young Scientist join Environmental Science Camp

            24 young scientist of Lucena City National High School-Main attended the Division Environmental Science Camp last September 1-3, at Zaballero Subdivision Elementary School.

            The aim of the camp was: “To promote academic excellence through competition, camaraderie and sportsmanship.”

            The students together with their science advisers competed in the Camp. Lady Rolyn Quejada IV-KDP and Samuel Obcemea III-WPP won both 1^st runner-ups in Ginoo at Binibining Agham. While in the extemporaneous speaking, Gindra Rañosa IV-KDP ranked 2^nd and Jomer Peñaflorida also from IV-KDP captured 3^rd place in Science Quiz Bee.

            The campers had some activities such as jingle, writing contest, project proposal making and natures trail. These activities where to enhance their awareness in the present scenario of our environment.

            Mr. Rolito M. Inojosa, the secondary School Head Teacher I-Science, superintendent , Supervisors, and the coordinators had a great smile after the succession of the said camp. The Campers go back home with new lessons that they can use in their whole life.
