LCNHS Commemorates Buwan ng Wika

          “Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa, Buwan ng mga Wika sa Pilipinas.” This was the theme of the yearly celebration of Buwan ng Wika all over the Philippines, emphasizing the different ways of celebrating the event through different schools, both private and public. And one of them is Lucena City National High School (LCNHS).

           The Lucena City National High School’s enthusiastic celebration of Buwan ng Wika was hosted by  Ms. Xandra Leah Dames, fourth year English teacher and was remarkably opened by Mrs. Arlene Mendoza, Filipino Coordinator.

            There were lots of presentations showed by the students to signify the Filipino culture and to initiate the Filipino language.

            All students from different year levels and different sections were given the chance to participate and to show their fascinating skills and talents applied in the different contest in the Buwan ng Wika celebration such as essay writing, poster making and slogan making contests.

            Mrs. Mendoza ended the celebration successfully by giving thanks to the students and teachers who participated in the celebration of Buwan ng Wika.
