LCNHS GRASPS INTRAM’S 06

         “Good Health for Great Sport” these was the theme of the Intramurals 2006, held at Lucena City National High School (LCNHS) gymnasium last September 8-9

         Mr. Arnold Delos Angeles, host of the event, gave his words of avidness to start the program. A parade signalized the start of the celebration, which was attended by the players including the ALS BPOSA and SPED classes.

         This was followed by giving the words of wisdom by Mrs. Epifania Carandang, LCNHS principal. Her statement gave a strong fighting spirit to the athletes to be able them to capture the crown. 

          Mr. Ferdinand Macatucob, MAPEH coordinator, gave thanks to those people who helped to make the said program possible. 

          Ms. Mary Anne Calvario led the igniting of the torch, which symbolized the sportsmanship of the entire athletes and all the representatives of each year levels rose there respective flags. 

          “Discipline and Sportsmanship” is the key to success, Mrs. Lourdes Casilang, ES-1 MAPEH, said. Healthy Mind for Healthy Body, is also one factor to grab the spotlight, Mrs. Casilang added. And the person behind the donation of 60 medals for the victors was she. 

          All the players from all year levels gave their best to grab the bacon. The ability they showed was unflinching. But only one can survive and will bring the pride of the school in the coming Triangular Meet or even STACAA. 

        Base on the record and the capacity they showed the Juniors excelled in almost all games. They bagged the title as the champion in this year’s Intramurals. 

        During the awarding of the winners, Mrs.Casilang led the ceremony and the program ended with a big smile of every one.
