Luca lead the life of an average farmer’s son for 17 years. But shortly after his 17th birthday the day-to-day monotony of his farm life was smashed. An Imperial invasion lead by a much feared Sith Lord descended on Luca’s homeplanet. His world could not put up any form of organised resistance as the planet, located in the Unknown Regions, had never seen galactic warfare before.

After several weeks the invasion approached the Meloch farm. Luca and his parents had continued their menial jobs, whilst Luca’s brother, Jack, joined the resistance. That would be the last day Luca saw his parents, as he looked on from the shadows as they were slaughtered at the merciless blade of the Sith Lord.

Luca locked himself in the Farm’s basement and concentrated on building the strength and ability to escape the planet’s new controllers. After several weeks Luca managed to slip off the planet, unnoticed.

When Luca arrived in a docking bay in the Outer Rim region of the galaxy he found comfort in a Jedi Knight. This Knight of the Force took Luca before the Jedi council and the young farm boy was granted Jedi training. After several years of working hard Luca had ascended to the rank of Journeyman of the Jedi Order. However Luca quickly became complacent with the New Jedi Order’s lack of action against the Sith tyranny that ruled parts of the galaxy. Feeling insecure with the teachings he had only recently learnt in the past years Luca decided to leave the Order on a sabbatical and search for his brother.

Returning without finding a trace of his brother Luca decided to take a more active role in "Removing the curtain of evil" from the galaxy.

During his time as a Journeyman of the Jedi Order Luca had mounted a case against the Dark Lord, Ondoron Bondoon. The Jedi council had no intention on acting on the evidence that he had brought before them. Now, no longer affiliating himself with the Jedi Order, Luca tracked down Bondoon on his own. He found the tyrant in a seedy bar, which soon became their battlefield. After several hours the bar was left in tatters and Luca was triumphant.

Feeling satisfied with his achievement Luca tracked down an old friend and ally, Jacen Organa Solo. Jace, the leader of the Shadows, had fought alongside Luca in some of the galaxy's biggest battles. Luca quickly embraced the Shadows and their conduct, learning to utilize both the light and dark sides of the force.

After several months in the Shadows Luca found the faction falling apart. The top three members of the order had left, Jace was away on personal business and Xavius and Margerette had deserted to other factions. Although Luca was not the highest ranking Shadow left, he found a rapport with his fellow Shadows and soon became a popular leader.

With the Shadow order in tatters Luca has began re-building it by searching out his old friends and allies to help rebuild the Order. Within months Luca had re-established the Shadow Order of Jedi with his close friend, Rhys Nero, at his side.

Luca now spends most of his days teaching and guiding the Initiates of the Shadow Order so that the faction can become strong enough to wage a war on the Sith.
