A Lighter Shade of Pink
I hope you enjoy this site, the good and bad, the light and dark and which is at this very moment being lovingly created by a most caring and generous soul, giving his free time and expertise because of a passion for his fellow brothers and sisters and on the mere mention of a longing for me to begin again my meagre efforts...hang on, with your efforts and my meagre efforts combined we could make 'meagre' the biggest typo known to man and it will reign supreme over all 'The Pink Ribbon' typos alloted (yes, all skillfully done)- Meagre Efforts will become Mega Efforts!
Had another idea for the site...read all about it in my PLOG where you will discover just what that is in actual fact, come to think of it. It just came to me whilst typing here with no coffee.
I feel, having had technology thrown at me only a few short years ago, like one of those sinnister bloggers. I say sinnister because at the time I hadn't a clue what one was...I can't let go easily but that's another story lol and a tangent. Anyway, I thought, since we are pink, "You're not!" I hear you cry, and to which I am saying, well thinking, well ok saying, there's no one here after all and I am getting better or so they say...anyway, to which I say, "Oh yes we jolly well are," and in a squeaky voice because I don't actually talk like that or say jolly...We very much are and getting pinker by the hour! Mmmm...another idea 'Tangents'r'Us' as a theme page, as well as quotes and pics of puppies etc...not sure why - there are no pictures of puppies by the way so keep going and start clicking... but I digreess - I heard that mister!
Onward and upward...or the upshot of it all is (all being delusionary, no coffee and typing here like a madwomen at 3 no 6 am)...I just breathed you can too you know, it's a handy habit to take uplol. Anyway, the upshot is I am indeed pink and can type. I could make a PLOG and invite you the PLOGEE to view and add to me the PLOGER but as I said you can read all about it in my....!!! Something wrong here somewhere which reminds me........
The Appeal:
Although this is a regional appeal, the fund is geared towards the creation and continuance of posts in the field of genetic research; research we vitally need carried out by people we vitally need. So, by that token, we all will benefit.
The RoyalVictoria Infirmary played a major part in my being here today, hence the donation point. Six years ago I felt I had to do something to say a huge thank you on behalf of my lovely family alone. Years later I feel compelled along with the countless million lights out there, forever striving, never giving up alongside you maybe and hopefully like you, doing it for the most selfless of reasons. This dreadul disease unfortunately like so many has few boundaries, sex, age,...it scorches everyone even those on it's outskirts so deeply.
