2008 WCCO Recipe form

For all teams competing in the 2008 World Championship Dutch Oven Cookoff, we would like you to submit your recipes using this form in an attempt to have all recipes in a consistent format.  If you have problems using this form or submitting your recipe, please send me a message and I'll do whatever I can to help you.  email me here Thanks!  Kristen Kingery, IDOS Cook-Off Liaison





If your recipe is separated by ingredient and/or directions, just input them (or cut and paste them) in their sections under the appropriate entry.

For Example, under the Ingredients entry you would type:

Crust
1 package yellow cake mix
1/3 cup margarine
1 egg

Filling
½ cup brown sugar
1 ½ cups corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs
1 cup chopped pecans

Under the Directions entry you would type:

Crust
Set aside 2/3 cup dry cake mix. Combine remaining cake mix, margarine and 1 egg. Mix well and press into the bottom of Dutch oven. Cover and bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown.

Filling
combine 2/3 cup dry cake mix, brown sugar, corn syrup, vanilla and 3 eggs. Beat until moist. Pour over warm crust and sprinkle pecans on top. Continue to bake for another 30 - 35 minutes.

You will then be notified in the early part of January as to which semifinal you will be cooking in, either Thursday or Friday. If you place in the top group of teams of that semi-final (number to be determined by total entrants) you will move on to the World Championships on Saturday.
