Our competitions are run in accordance with Riding Club Dressage Rules 2012 except that any equine with 20 or more British Dressage points is not permitted to enter any Prelim.

Class 1: Lead Rein Introductory                                Class 6:   Senior Prelim

Class 2: Junior Introductory                                       Class 7:   Junior Novice

Class 3: Senior Introductory                                       Class 8:   Senior Novice

Class 4: Adult Newcomers                                         Class 9:   Junior Elementary

Class 5: Junior Prelim                                                Class 10: Senior Elementary

 

Class 3 Adult Newcomer: is for riders new to dressage who have never achieved a score of 55% or higher in any dressage test.  Once a rider has achieved 55% or above on 3 occasions they may continue in this class for the current season, but they will be excluded from this class the following season. THE ONLY OTHER CLASS ADULT NEWCOMERS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR ARE THE INTRODUCTORY WALK/TROT TESTS.

 

Entry Fees:   

Members £7.00, Non Members £10.00. 

All cheques are to be made payable to Longton Riding Club and must be sent to the Dressage Secretary, Mrs Patricia Lunn, 20 Jolly Tar Lane, Coppull, Chorley, PR7 4BH prior to the event along with full entry details.

 

Entries close 3 days before the event, (Wednesday 10pm without exceptions) and will be accepted by

e-mail pat@longtonridingclub.com,  by post to the address above, or by text to 07778 128104 but MUST be backed up with conformation of entry details and payment prior to the event.

 

Please specify on the entry form if the competitor is a junior or senior (Junior 17 or under on 1st January 2012).  All requests for times will be accommodated where possible, but on a first come first served basis.  No changes to times will be made once the entries have closed.

 

Test times will be available on our website www.longtonridingclub.com on the Thursday evening prior to the event.  It would be much appreciated if competitors could access their times from the web site.  If this is not possible please telephone Pat on 07778 128104 or 01257 791458 between 8.00pm – 10.00 pm only on the Thursday before the event.

 

Withdrawals or enquiries on the day should be made to Pat Lunn on 07778 128104.

 

Refunds or the transferring of entries to the next event will only be allowed if notification is received before the entry closing day which is Wednesday 10pm prior to the event.
