Loyalist Decorative Painters Guild is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the arts as well as doing community services such as the Memory Box program for local hospitals, The Festival of Trees (in the past has been in support of Garratt's Island Retreat for Children with cancer). November 2008 The Festival of Trees was in support of Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital to support and help the hospital.

The 2009 FESTIVAL OF TREES Wreath theme is birds. Please paint an ornament of your choice with a bird and bring in to Rena. If you have a pattern you wish cut out, please contact Rena. The ornament does not have to be a bird shape, but any shape you wish, with a bird painted on it.
