LOWTOWN ACADEMY MAJORETTES

2002 - 03: The troupe was formed in by Danielle and her family, the new majorette troupe was advertised in local areas.

2003 - 04:Eventually in a full troupe was formed and Lowtown entered the first of many competitions. They performed well in their new Navy jackets and Yellow and Blue Tartan skirts but no trophies were won that day.

2004 - 05: Leighann became co-trainer, she trained one team which was Babies and Danielle did the rest.

2005- 06: Charlotte became co-trainer too and trained Tinies. Now there are 3 trainers more time can devoted to each section. Each trainer has a different style of training but they are all very successful and the trainers are respected alot by the girls. Also in 2005 Lowtown decided to go for an image change, this change was quite drastic. Lowtown decided to keep the same style uniform but instead change the Lowtown colours completely. They were changed to Red Jackets and Green Tartan skirts.

2006 - 07: The trainers at Lowtown had a discussion and decided that maybe they should try training different teams. Leighann now trained Dinkies and Babies, Charlotte trained Juniors and Danielle trained Tinies & Seniors. During the training season Leighann had to give up Babies due to a loss of girls from a family. The rest of the girls where put into Dinkies. 

2007 - 08: Lowtown finally had a baby team back due to a boost of girls from a local primary school however there was no Dinky team this year as girls needed to be moved up into an older section. Due to Leighanns work difficulties she had to sadly give up training the young girls. However Danielle & Charlotte managed extremely well and all the sections of Lowtown got awarded a place in competitions that season.

2008 - 09: The head trainer decided that a trainer for each section would be more appropriate as they could concentrate harder on the teams and Danielle could put her focus on Seniors as we were no longer a Division 2 team. Seniors stepped up there training and improved a lot. The trainers for the other sections were; Charlotte R trained Juniors, Natalie trained Tinies and Charlotte J trained Dinkies. We had no baby team this year due to the ages of the girls in Lowtown Academy.
