All about our Fab Troupe!

It all began in 1983 when a few mums and dads decided to do their own Troupe as we were currently with Lower Charlestown Aces.
Ann made our dresses in 2 weeks and we danced out for our first time,  as Lower Kersal Collanades that is our full title even though we only get called Lower Kersal or Anns Army or the BIRDS ha ha (the lovely dresses are on our Webs album)
The longest member of  Lower Kersal  is Ann Smith who has been with the troupe since day 1, Over the years the troupe has had many Trainers from good and bad!!!!!!!   when her  daughter Joanne aged 15  and Shirley (who joined Lower Kersal when she was 14) started to train the Troupe in 1991 the two of them made Lower Kersal the troupe it is today. The troupe as gone from a Lg 2 team not winning at all to a super duper team dancing in Lg1 and getting placed even winning many TMDA Champs from 1999 to 2004.
At the moment we are mainly dancing with MANECCO and IMDA who have made us welcome to there organization. We also go to other Organizations to get the girls out and to make them more confident by dancing with different teams.
We can't thank enough the Parents who every week help us out  you know who you are
Lower  Kersal  are a fun and friendly troupe or should i say Nutters who love to have a good time, maybe this is why we have so many members.  Its nice when  girls have left when they are teenagers and then rejoin with their Children maybe this is because of good memories that never fade.
At present we have 60+ girls who are all committed to Lower Kersal and we are so proud of them ALL
Keep the hard work up Kersal and lets make 2008 our season
