It seems that he has been doing this for quite some time. Using his position as a Doctor to get close to little kids. Plying them with candy and money, and then having sex with them. When the parents found out, Dr. Lovenstein has bought their silence using funds that he embezzled from his own institute.
As it turned out, he has a past record of this from when he was a juvenile. It all started way back when he was 16 years old. He was caught and sentenced to 6 years in prison. But because he was a juvenile (under the age of 18), his sentence was reduced to two years, and after his release, his conviction was expunged from the official record.
We were all in great shock as you can well imagine.
The Lovenstein Institute Board of Directors have named me as Dr. Lovenstein's replacement and I have appointed accountants to go over the institutes financial records to see what was stolen and where did he spend it. So far they have managed to account for almost everything except for the sum of $350,000 which is still missing. I visited Dr. Lovenstein in jail and he refused to tell me the location of this missing money.
I am doing everything possible to prevent this news from being reported in the press. Failing that, I will be trying to save the good image of the Lovenstein Institute. I am telling you the absolute truth. I wish all of this wasn't true. I wish all of this was not happening. But it is. It's all true.
I have additional bad news. Dr. Lovenstein tried to escape from jail, somehow he stole a car and was chased by the police off the side of a hill. He crashed and died. I am filled with nothing but grief. I can barely type this letter, I am so sad. He was my best friend and mentor for over 20 years. Attached are a couple of newspaper clipping proofs that I obtained from the Scranton Newspaper (the editor is a friend of mine) that mentions more of this story.
I think that it is in the best interest of the Lovenstein Institute to continue this transaction that you had with Dr. Lovenstein. I have a photo to send you as you require (a couple of photos of me and Dr. Lovenstein, both with and without my beard), but I do not have a scan of my passport handy right now.
