John 1:6-14
There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a
witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to
them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his
name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man,

Luke 8:16-17
No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a
bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.

Ephesians 5:8-16
For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of

thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then
that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the
days are evil.

Ye are the light of the world.

2 Peter 1:15-21

we were with him in the holy mount. We have also a more sure word of prophecy;
whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until
the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy
of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time
by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

1 John 1:4-9
And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. This then is the message
which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no
darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we
lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have
fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all
sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we
confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness.

Revelation 21:21-25
And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the
street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. And I saw no temple
therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. And the city had
no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it,
and the Lamb is the light thereof. And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in
the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. And the
gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
Revelation 22:5
And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for
the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
