Into my loving arms

They jump from their cage

Ready to snuggle, and ready to frolic

They make me smile,

When I should cry

I raise them from day one

And have to say goodbye

Off to new homes

Some of them go

But I know

The greatest give I’ll ever give

Is a rat to love and hold

So tears of joy run down my face

Have a happy life my friend

The days are bright

With my companions

The loves of my life

My rats

Introduction

Hi, my name is Marci, let me be the first to
welcome you to Loving Arms Rattery (LOVE)
Home of the cutest rats on Earth!!!!

Here you will find information on current
and upcoming litters in my rattery, quality
rat supplies and plenty of cute pictures!

Breeding goals

Loving Arms Rattery is a small-scale rattery
breeding only several litters a year.

I breed all my rats first for health, second
for temperament and third for color and
markings.

I breed only the number of rats I can place
in good, caring homes.  If you would like a baby
from my rattery, please contact me to be placed
on a waiting list.

Why rats?

I started breeding rats because I enjoy their company so much
and because I wanted to be able to share my love of rats with others.

When you send home a rat you raised from birth and you watch that
happy new owner walk away cuddling one of your rats, it makes
it all worthwhile.  I don't make money running a rattery but
that is alright with me.

When I adopted my first rat is soon became clear that I had
not only adopted a small fuzzy critter, I had adopted a best
freind.  Me and my first rat Christopher spent all our time
together.  Whenever I needed a freind or someone to make
me smile, Christopher would come running to his cage door
to greet me, always ready to make my day just that much
better.

After the death of my second rat Sqeaky, I vowed
to never keep rats as pets again.  I was so heartbroken.
I lost my best freind and companion of two years.
Sqeaky died at an early age because he suffered from
chronic respiratory infections.  Such infections are
much more common in pet store rats, like Sqeaky
who are not selectively bred to have strong immune
systems.

Several years later, after a lot of research I decided
I couldn't live without rats anymore.  That is when
I founded Loving Arms Rattery.

I now have many rats living in my home and I have
never been happier or more content.
