In my life I've probably written over hundred fictional stories. Stories about love, action, mystery, fantasy/sci-fi, and at least one or two westerns, and then also, poetry. I've written quite a bit of fan-fiction stories too. Every story that I write I do exstensive research on it (even if it doesn't go anywhere). I always write down a few paragraphs about the story. Research the town or cities or States that it takes place in. Write down each character that I plan on using in the story (looks/age, personality, intent..stuff like that). And then I find an actor/actress to base the characters looks off of.
Yea. It's a deep thinking process for me.
I really do take writing seriously. It's my way of escaping what's going on in my life. I hate drama, because I certainly have enough of it in my life. Most of the time though, you'll find that my stories have at least a few bits of drama. Life would not be normal. I love the romances where the guy always gets the girl or visa versa. Where good always triumphs over evil. Where the hero always saves the day. But sometimes....it's more realistic for the 'story-world' to go the other way.
So, please don't be disappointed if things don't go the way you expect them too. Because the way that I look at it...there's always a sequel. *smiles*
