Ok, even though I'm pretty good translating Japanese, I didn't really get what this is all about. Either, it can mean Yuna will have a column about her favoourite music in ORICON STYLE Weekly Magazine, or it can mean she's having yet another radio show that could be available as podcast. Either way, here's what the news says.

Sony BMG Japan has announced the finalized tracklist of Yunachan's 5th single losin' on her official site www.yunaweb.net!

Yunachan and singer Angela Aki, who's also a Hawaii native, performed together at the Mezakura Event. From Both the BLOG entries of the songtresses we know that Yuna performed ENDLESS STORY and Precious with orchestra and that the admosphere was very romantic. Finally it's here: Yuna's stuck on you PV! I'm not gonna say much about it since I think it's really fake, but you should judge yourself. Yuna has a few different dresses and haircuts and the curls really suit her. At the end there's to be continiued... which shows us that losin' PV is linked to stuck on you. I think Yuna will be transported into the jungle and is kinda fairy-like and then reaches the beach (just where LOST actually takes place). Enjoy!

Yuna has left us a very small message, stating that she won't be able to write now because of work. We of course understand that but miss the days when Yuna wrote us long entries of how excited she was and how much she loved it.

My homepage changed. Which Yuna Ito do you like more? I'm very sorry, but I won't be able to write in this BLOG while I'm working. It might be long until I am more effective again.

As Yuna will be featured in the August 2006 issue of CD DATA Magazine, the official site of the music paper released a mini-preview for the 4-page-feature for which Yuna stood in front of the camera. She wore a black dress with roses on which just looks stunning.

Also, they released a comment of Yuna about her new single stuck on you and the photoshoot itself. As an extra, we get a promo-picture for the single, released on August 9th, as well. Click on the following pic to view it in bigger size.

Yuna has written (finally!) a new BLOG Entry. She first apologizes that she couldn't write, but she was too busy to do so. Then she describes the PV shoot for stuck on you as fun and that she was glad to try out something new. I will translate the entry in the next week fully, so watch out for it on the Yuna's BLOG section! Here 2 pictures she posted along! Persons who buy both, Yuna Ito's 4th single "stuck on you" and her 5th single "losin'" are invited to "YUNA ITO 1st Invitation Live", which will be hold in each Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka. YAY! The wedding version for Yuna's Precious is available for download on her official site! You can go buy it for 210Yen each, it also comes with a "less vocal track", which actually means it's an instrumental. The version is aboslutely beautiful, less choir, more violins, and more stunning Yuna. The new version is just breathtaking gorgeous! It’s been some time since the latest update, but there was nothing to report on Yuna lately. So now, here’s a BLOG entry about Yuna signing for the sequel of NANA movie, in which she played the REIRA in 2005. But the source is not all trustworthy, so the rumours can be false, hence other actresses are said to be replaced.

Reportedly, singer Yuna Ito (22), who is about to release her 4th single into Japanese music biz, has been signed to play the role of TRAPNEST vocalist REIRA Serizawa in the manga adaption "NANA 2". Only last year the Hawaiin native debuted as REIRA starring YUNA ITO with the movie theme song "ENDLESS STORY". Since then, Sony Music Japan was not sure to let Ito play the role of the opposite of Oosaki Nana again. Hence they feared the image of the singer could be taken down, it was until early 2006 unlikely Ito would join the cast for the sequel. "I want to be REIRA," was what she let everyone know when the auditions started. And Sony Music finally let her sign the contract. "You are REIRA," was said.

"Lost is terrible. 'losin' is terrible." - What's wrong with Yuna Ito and host Chris Prepar?

18:20 - The doors open and the logo mark of "LOST" appears in front of the screen. A preview of Season 2 is shown to everyone and it appears quiet different than Season 1. New people. New riddles. New climaxes.

19:00 - The official start. Host of the special event is Chirs Prepar who makes his first appearance in the MC [break]. He is a great fan of the show, who he describes as "drama" and talks about the show's charm and the new ending theme of the 2nd Season.

The inspiration song is played and the crowd gets even wilder. Then, after the song finished, the songstress appears who has changed her style completely. Yuna Ito enters the hall and the excitement of everyone is on its climax!

Chatting a bit, Ito and Prepar decide to "punk" everyone. Yuna Ito comments on her song and the show. "Lost is terrible. 'losin' is terrible," she tries to stay calm, but the laughter comes out of her mouth. Later, she explains what she likes about "losin". "I especially like the lyrics," she gushes. "The 'we will be found' suits the show and the melody of the song perfectly. And still, it's yet a total different song from what I did before."

Further, she reveals "losin" will be released around September, following a single in August. This song will not be only used for TV show "LOST" but also bring Yuna Ito in another league of Japanese superstars.

ORICON STYLE has yet another poll on which song suits the theme of wedding best. Of course, they also mentioned Yuna's Precious ând the team up with RIVERIA. Here's the translation of the part that features Yuna.

The mix was decided when I got a certain call. "Will you make a new wedding song?" was asked from the staff of Riveria Tokyo Ltd. This restaurant opens to public July 1st -"RIVERIA AYOMA".

Thus, a collaboration between Yuna Ito and Riveria was decided and "Precious-wedding extended ver.-" was born.

Details from the limited delivery will be given from July 1st forward, first on the opening party of RIVERIA AYOMA. A wonderful tune everyone should listen to.

Yuna is on 2nd position on the Japanese Rental Charts! Just star Koda Kumi with her newest single could take over the number 1 spot!

Yuna's 3rd single Precious has sold over 175.000 copies in only 6 weeks! With that she has outsold even Mika Nakashima's new single ALL HANDS TOGETHER and has been named "a great add to the Japanese music biz". Yuna showed that she is no one-hit-wonder, and even outsold her OWN single Faith/Pureyes (ca. 55.000 in total only). Congrats Yuna! Her current place in the ORICON Rankings is #17!

Singer Yuna Ito (22) pressed both her thumbs for Japan when they played their debut on this year's FIFA World Cup in Germany. The match ended in a 3:1 score after Australia shot their 3rd goal in minute 92. Ito, born and raised in the US, sounded cheerful when she talked about the World Cup. "It's a fever. Everyone watches these games. It's a lot of fun and my staff and I enjoy the matches during breaks." "Time To Make Friends" is Germany's moto this year, 2010 the World Cup will be held in Brazil, according to FIFA.

“Losin” has attracted great attention through its mid-up-tempo-tune around Sony. I especially like one phrase of the impressive lyrics, “We will be found”. It matches perfectly with the outlook of the world of “LOST”. “It’s very very interesting. You have to think about it!” is what comes up in my mind when I think about “LOST”. I am also looking forward to its 2^nd season and hope you will enjoy the tune that follows the ending, “Losin”.

Yuna was chosen to sing the song for the 2nd season of American hit show "LOST" in Japan. "Losin" will be the Autumn release of her 2 Single Project and will support the show that will be broadcasted by AXN Channel.

Inspired Song to "LOST ~ Season 2"

Super star Yuna Ito will sing the inspired song to the American TV drama, "LOST Season 2," which will be broadcasted by AXN. The information was revealed at the Japanese premiere event of "LOST" in the city of Tokyo on June 7th, which Yuna Ito attended.

Yuna Ito did not appear in her "dressy" attire, like she usually does since her surprising debut from "NANA the Movie." Instead, she was dressed casually in jeans.

Also, Yuna Ito's single "Precious," which is the theme song to the movie "Umizaru II: Limit of Love" (released in May, starring Hideaki Ito and Ai Kato), has sold over 142,000 copies and came in at third place. This time, the song "Losin'" (which releases in early Autumn) will follow the drama's theme,  by a declaration to "break away" from the ballads.

"It was great to be challenged with a mid-up-tempo tune. Both Japanese and English are being adopted in the lyrics, but the part where Japanese had to be sung quickly was especially hard!" Plus, she said it was for a secret episode that was recorded.

Yuna Ito is also singing the song "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'," a cover of Jessica Simpson's "Dukes of Hazzard" theme, for the Daihatsu "COO" CM.

Ito, who makes sparkling eyes in the streets of Sapporo City, visited the place for the first time!

Recently, Yuna Ito (22), who debuted as REIRA in the movie "NANA", visited Hokkaido for the first time for a campaign. "Someday, Ifll be a singer." The dream of becoming a star which was written in her diary at the young age of 13 was made possible in Japan where the time difference between Hawaii, where Ito grew up, and Tokyo is 19 hours. It hit the peak as a top singer in less than no time by a skill of a singer who was not yet heard in the northern provinces of Soda. The real face of her, her motto gThose who make an effort succeedg, can be seen beside her talent.

Some friend of mine, who happened to be in the Home EC Class of Yuna herself, just sent me following article. He claims that rumours were spread in Honolulu that Yuna had come back for a relative's graduation on McKinley High, which Yuna attended until 2001. Judge yourself if you believe or not.

Singer from Japan, Yuna Ito (22), a local, was set to be back in Hawaii to celebrate the graduation of one of her relatives. It was said she attended McKinley High’s graduation on Sunday, June 4^th 2006, to support one of her family members. Ito, herself graduate from the Class of 2001, returned to Honolulu, Hawaii, to spent quality time with everyone she knew before she flew back to Japan for important recordings.

CDJAPAN, a big online shop for overseas wanting to buy Asian music, has revealed the big plan for Yuna's 4th single. Just as Sony Records Japan kept her idenity a secret until she debuted they have yet another big surprise for us: A 2 single project! The in August released single will feature the theme of "hot" (including CM song These Boots Are Made For Walkin') and the September released single will feature "cool"! We can expect something really great!

Singer Yuna Ito (22), who debuted under the synonym of REIRA starring YUNA ITO with the NANA movie song “ENDLESS STORY”, presented the “Inspiration Award” to member of Destiny’s Child, Kelly Rowland on the 2006 MTV Video Music Awards Japan, held on May 26^th. Ito has been under Sony Records Japan since her break-through as well as the 3-head-band from the United States who celebrated an amazing comeback with their final album “Destiny Fulfilled”. A battle between Ito herself and singer colleague Mika Nakashima escalated when the NANA actress took home the award for “Best Video of a Film” for her music clip “GLAMAROUS SKY”. Moreover, Ito had not been nominated for any other award that night.

I'm sorry for the lack of updates, but I was having a family vacation in the netherlands~so now I'm gonna catch up with a major update for you guys containing pictures, news and downloads!

First of all, Yuna was guest on TV show MUSIC STATION on Friday, May 26th to perform Precious. Notice that she could only be on this episode because the audience voted her in! Yuna stands in the middle of so many candles and behind her the Gospel Choir that has been part of her staff since the release of the 3rd single. Enjoy this and thanx to angel-ayu!

About the first visit in Hokkaido Ito happily gushed: „There was a cold impression when we arrived and later I just thought how terrible beautiful this place was.”

Yunachan performed Precious on Music Station, May 5th. First she had a lively talk with the hosts about the PV and her looks in it (a guy behind her said she was looking hot XD). Then she headed for the stage to perform Precious with a huge Gospel Choir. I can say that this is her best performance of that song so far. Yuna performed Precious on Japanese music program Music Fair 21 with a Gospel Choir. Music Fair 21 is a show with a lot of talking between the performances and Yuna sat in the center of the round, being really polite and cute. Yuna opened the show by performing her hit single ENDLESS STORY. You can clearly recognize her vocals have improved a lot since her last TV live featuring that song. Later on, she then presented her new song. Yuna looked goregeous in her white dress and sang with all her heart. Here now the Precious performance which is just as good as the CDTV one and the ENDLESS STORY show! Enjoy!

Yuna's official site has set up a special where you can watch the LIMIT OF LOVE -Umizaru- Event Preview, in which Yuna sung for the first time Precious with a Gospel Choir and a special comment of Yuna on Precious and part of the PV at the end. Yuna lets us know that she adores Precious and loves the movie LIMIT OF LOVE -Umizaru-. Also we get to know that the Precious PV (as I thought) was shot in New Zealand. Yuna is really hyper and cute ^_^

Yuna performed on CDTV yesterday on April 29, and today we have the full performance + talk! It is the first time for Yuna to be a part of the regular TV program coz before she only participated in the big end of the year show of CDTV. Yuna first introduces herself with a "Nice to meet you!" and then advertises for her 3rd single Precious. The whole performance is the best she did so far! Yuna's vocals are amazing and the 4 people who back her up do a good job too. But Yuna's voice can be heard so much better and is not shaky anymore as it was before in her TV lives. Thanx to angel-ayu!

ORICON STYLE has released a TOP3 which they predict to become true on Wednesday, May 3rd. And they expect Yuna to enter the Weekly Single Charts with Precious on #1 with about 70.000 copies to be sold, comparing to Faith/Pureyes which only sold about 50.000 so far an amazing success! Let's hope it becomes true \o/

Even though Yuna's Precious won't be featured on the LIMIT OF LOVE -Umizaru- Soundtrack I thought I post up the information about it here. The CD will come as either Normal or Limited Edition. It is not know what will be included on that special edition yet. It is set to be released on May 10th, 4 days after the movie openes in Japan.

Finally Sony has released Yuna's 3rd promotional video for her song Precious! It has a touch of TITANIC but it actually features scenes from the upcoming movie LIMIT OF LOVE -Umizaru-. The movie follows the story of a couple who is about to marry but the husband-to-be is involved in a huge rescue in a Japanese habour because he's a coast guard. Yuna is standing on the beach and you can see she's a true Hawaiin girl! She just fits perfectly to the see and the mountains. Enjoy the video!

The "LIMIT OF LOVE sea monkey" event preview that had been recruited by the mail member limitation the other day was held on April 19th in the church of Tokyo.

Yuna Ito appears on the stage as a surprise guest after the preview ends. Also it was a really special event because it was held in a huge church.

It is the very first performance with the Gospel Choir (literally translated as "Unpleasant Gospel Mulberry Tree") of 50 people of the theme song of "LIMIT OF LOVE Sea Monkey", "Precious".

Tears coming up because of the movie and the wonderful ballad before the hall is encompassed by a moving storm.
