Lostladyknight's Fanfictions

Hi I'm Lostladyknight and this is my Fanfiction site.

Here's just a little info about me and my writing... in case you're wondering.

About Me:

I’ll be twenty one before I know it and I can’t believe it. Last time I checked I was like fifteen. I’m a junior in college. I moved to the mountains because they’re beautiful. My nephew is the love of my life. My brother is one of my best friends. I’m a girl and proud of it. I believe in God. I want to get married and have children someday. I believe in fairy tales. I believe in magic. I don’t kiss and tell. I love with every fiber of my being. I don’t know the meaning of the word ‘hate.’ I believe in the basic element of goodness in everyone. I like taking showers. I love my dog. I am a Jersey Girl. I like to stay in.

I like... Long walks at night, holding hands, kissing in the rain, reading by lamplight before I go to bed, reading one last chapter before I get up for the day, writing, singing along to my music in the car, lyrics that really say something, movies, slow dancing, music, spring time, musicals, old movies, certain tv shows, fanfiction, grammar, old photographs, CSI Sundays, mountains, family vacations, puppies, kitties, singing in the rain, dancing like a fool, laughing, smiling, the New York Yankees, and cuddling with my cat.

I dislike... Cold showers, smelly people, Will Farrell movies, the bad guys in kid’s movies, going out every night of the week, waking up to an empty bed, missing CSI on Thursdays, sweating, mowing the lawn, diet soda, being yelled at, people who assume I do drugs, and people who story alert but don’t leave a review.

My favorite books:

Wicked. By Gregory Maguire.

The Call of the Wild. By JackLondon.

The Crystal Cave. By Mary Stewart.

Memoirs of a Geisha. By Arthur Golden

The Lost Years of Merlin. Epic. By T. A. Barron.

Protector of the Small. Quartet. By Tamora Pierce

Oz Chronicles. By. L. F. Baum

Elvenbane. By Mercedes Lackey and Andre Norton.

The Time Traveler's Wife. By Audrey Neiffenegger

My Sister's Keeper. By. Jodi Piccoult

The Memory Keeper's Daughter. By Kim Edwards

Was. By Geoff Ryman

The Great Gatsby. By F. Scott Fitzgerald

The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. By Mark Twain

To Kill A Mockingbird. By Harper Lee

The Princess Bride. By William Goldman

CSI Fan fictions I've authored:

Carpe Diem. Set during the season six opening episode "Bodies in Motion" and is a reflection of the events that led up to Warrick's marriage. It's based on his internal thoughts and sturggle, and the descision he ultimately makes.

Elaborate Lives. This is about the lives of all of our favorite characters. Nick experiences the reporcussions of events that happened when he was still a ten, while Warrick and Catherine dance around their feelings, and Sara and Grissom fall into an open and honest relationship, all the while Greg can't help but continue to grow. A new CSI brings everyone back to reality as she fights a battle she simply can't win.

Just Because and Because. Grissom and Sara have dinner for no reason at all. Not exactly fluff, but you could call it that. CSI fic if you don't realize already. It's basically a conversation between Grissom and Sara as the come to realize just how much they have impacted each other's lives.

Friendly Little Chat- Catherine and Sara have a conversation about the times they've let their personal and professional lives merge.

Symphony of Change- Co-authored with Bauerfreak. Set alongside season 8, this is the story of love, friendship, confusion, and inevitable change. Eventual YoBling and Snickers.

Who I’d take to dinner:

My 12th grade AP English teacher used to say, we should pick three people from history that we’d take to dinner, and have a conversation with if we could. People we’d like to learn more about. My people are as follows.

L. F. Baum. I have hundreds of questions about the land of Oz that only he could answer. I’d like to know what he thinks about Wicked. Well, there truly are thousands of things. Not to mention his books are wonderful.

S. Morganstern. Well that would mean that he really existed and my soul wouldn't have to hurt anymore, knowing that he was a fabrication. That was a cruel trick played on society by William Goldman and I'm pretty displeasesd about it.

Jonathan Larson. This man was pure Genius. I think it’s a tragedy that he died so young, and I am ever thankful that he left the world with RENT , before he went. I just wish I would have the chance to thank him. RENT changed a generation, and changed my life.

Quotations:

o0o

"Like dark turning into day

Somehow we'll come through

Now that I've found you

Love will find a way"

~Kovu. Lion King II

o0o

“And of the Witch? In the life of a Witch, there is no after, in the ever after of a Witch, there is no happily; in the story of a Witch, there is no afterword. Of that part there is beyond the life story, beyond the story of the life, there is—alas, or perhaps thank mercy—no telling. She was dead, dead and gone, and all that was left of her was the carapace of her reputation for malice.”~From Wicked, by Gregory Maguire.

"Forget regret or life is yours to miss."

~RENT

"Carpe Diem"

~ John Keating -Dead Poet's Society.

o0o

Whether bright or melancholy

Rough and ready, finely spun

Whether with a thousand players

Or a lonely cast of one

Every story, new or ancient

Bagatelle or work of art

All are tales of human failing

All are tales of love at heart

-Aida -Every Story is a Love Story

Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose
