TIPS ON WEIGHT LOSS
- Do not starve.
- Set realistic weight loss goals and use a journal to chart your progress.
- Chew the food to a pulp or milky liquid until it practically swallows itself.
- Balance the food you eat with physical activity
- Replace whole milk with skim milk.
- Enjoy poached egg instead of fried egg.
- Use whole wheat bread instead of white.
- In sandwich instead of mayonnaise use green coriander chutney.
- Snack on watermelon or papaya instead of fries.
- Have a single scoop of ice cream instead of double scoop.
- Never eat until hungry.
- Make sure you are getting enough nutritious food, make carrot and vegetable juice, use no commercial beverages, avoid moldy food.
- Enjoy every bite or morsel, savouring the flavour until it is swallowed.
- Do not eat when tired, angry, worried, and at meal-time refuse to think or talk about
unpleasant subjects.
- Get at least 20 minutes of exercise every day. This will boost your metabolism and help you burn fat.
- Drink plenty of water.
- Do not eat after 7:00 pm to reduce the amount of calories dramatically to prevent weight gain (40% of the calories consumed are after 7:00 pm)
