So, what's been happening?
Oliver! rehearsals are going well, I think.
Only downside is that we don't, according to Mr Watt "have a workable stagecrew." And "the only cast we can really rely on is Claire." Loli's reaction to this was fan-fucking-hilarious.
I have big ideas as far as stagecrew goes this year, but I'm going to keep them hush-hushed. Best Stagecrew ever, summer 2008. I really hope Lauren and Claire will be able to come back next year like I have. It'll be weird without them. And to be honest, this is about as close to being onstage again I'll get.
Anyhow, I'm over and out!

2008

Everyone thinks I'm weird keeping this site alive, but I don't care.
These times were the best in my life and I never want to forget them. From randomly silly podcasts to shitty comments on this site about how much everyone hates me, to never really talking again. This site, this group and these people have changed what I was and will continue to mould my life, despite us not really being friends, because these guys will always be in my life. Be that seeing them in school, or reading mypace bulletins and Bebo ch-ch-changes. They be in my heart, truly and honestly. Nothing and no-one can ever take that away from me.

"A friend is one who knows us, but loves us anyway." -- Fr. Jerome Cummings
"Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same."
"True friendship is like sound health; the value of it is seldom known until it be lost"
“I was never one to patiently pick up broken fragments and glue them together again and tell myself that the mended whole was as good as new. What is broken is broken -- and I'd rather remember it as it was at its best than mend it and see the broken places as long as I lived.” --Margaret Mitchell

Our Motto

Well to be honest, there is no point to this site.

What can I say? We are a bunch of people who hang around with each other, are quite alike and are the sub-defectives in our school, we are the outcasts, the rejects, but hey, isn't everyone?

The neds are rejected by us, and we are rejected right back.

Everyone is a reject, basically

One year on...

Well, let's see...
It has been well over a year since we used Loser Like Us.
I eventually decided, right, that this is more about people in school who are not accepted into the norm and want to be "Loser Like Us" hence the name.
Since then, we have recruited some pretty awesome people and some not-so awesome people too.
There was Paul, until his debating society shite got in the way.
There was Amanda a.k.a Mander or MandaFace (to Alicat) until her friend came back to school after being sick for like a year or something.
Manda brought Kirstin and Nicola, but then grew up and wanted different things from school, so promptly left also.
Erin and Sarah were our new recruits, but that went tits up, Erin created her own wee group and wee Sarah has a disease that badly affects her legs, so is not really at school that often.
Wee Samantha is there from time to time, when she isn't drumming her wee heart out.
Christy is a doll, I don't know her as well as I should, but she's a wee gem of a girl.
Andrew came to the group and has recently become a cog as far as the group dynamic goes, I don't think it would be the same without him.
"Jofus" has been there since last year, but as Head Boy, is not very LOSER material. But he's still important.
Jesse has been Claire's friend since primary and has of late, joined us, she is also a we gem, funny as hell too!
Wee Roo and Sebastian have now joined us and have been with us since August/September. Two cool wee guys. Roo is a wee smart arse but wouldn't let you walk past without saying hi and high five-ing you. Sebastian is really called Stuart, it's an In-Joke, he's cool as anything but a bit pervy too, for a Twelve-year old.

As you will have guessed, the people who made this site a year ago are not the people reviving it today. But that happens in all groups of friends, you take the good with the bad and roll with it. As Martin says "I
admit, we didn't always think that things were going well, things didn't go the way we planned, there were many fights, there were times when we just nearly gave in, there were things we did that we weren't proud of and there were times when we question ourselves and the group." Oh and F.Y.I. Martin my name has  one "L" in it.

And now, to the future. We'll update when we do our podcast.

And that is all for now...
