Many people have never had the chance to have a tarot reading. Others may at some point in their lives had a reading done by someone who is skilled in the art of reading the cards. Many people look to the Tarot cards for fortune-telling, which is also known as cartomancy. Although the cards are not intended to predict a fixed future - but, rather, the likely outcome of a given situation - this use of Tarot remains popular. Increasingly, however, people are becoming interested in the psychological advantages that a Tarot reading can offer. When we use the Tarot as an aid to learning more about ourselves, we are working with the powerful symbolism of the cards, rather than with their predictive attributes.

From the very beginning, humankind developed symbolic languages to describe the rich world of the unconscious. whenever we consult the Tarot, we are given a glimpse of the psychological patterns, the spiritual aspirations, and the hidden motivations that govern our lives. We are "fated" to have certain experiences in life, such as the joy of getting married, or becoming a parent, or the sadness of experiencing a loss. Sometimes we embrace such an experience and at other times we try to to deny or supress it. The Tarot reflects these archetypal situations and gives us insight into how to deal with them. Whatever purpose we put to the Tarot, it is important to treat it with the respect that it deserves. Tarot is often linked to fortune telling and the occult.

TAROT - A set of 78 cards with pictures and symbols that are used for divination by connecting the reader to the subconscious mind. The origin of the cards is unknown. Some guesses on the origin are from the Romany (Gypsy) people, but that is unsupported so far.

The cards can be used to determine the past, present and future of an event or person and can become powerful tools in magical workings and rituals. The Tarot is divided into the 22 Major Arcana or Trump cards that depict dominant occurrences and the 56 Minor Arcana or Suit cards that assist in fleshing out the situations indicated by the Trump Cards, or indicate smaller occurrences.

1. The three card method. This is the most basic form of tarot divination and can be used as a general reading or in answer to a specific question.

2. The simple cross spread. The cross spread is suitable for answering specific questions. Six cards have to be picked and the sixth card represents the overall results.

3. The love horseshoe spread. Specifically tailored to answer questions of a romantic nature. Seven cards are used for this spread.

I do not believe in charging ridiculous prices for my readings and in no circumstances am i in this just to make money. It is not, nor will it ever be about money.
