Crystal!

This is Crystal. She was born June 8, 2003. While we have had BTs for almost 20 years and I did some showing in 4-H with Panda it has only been in the past 6 or 8 months that we have taken an interest in showing them. In Crystal lies our hopes of a good show dog. We are hoping to find the perfect male to breed with her. She has 47 Champions in her 5 generation pedigree, including some real big names in Boston Terriers and we have high hopes that she will produce some awsome pups for us in the near future.

Crystal Brings home my first Reserve win!

On Sat and Sun Feb 11th and 12th 2006 I showed Crystal and Birdie at the Linn County Kennel Club show in Albany Oregon. Crystal won her class of 3 on Sat and then went on to Reserve Winners Bitch!! This was my first Reserve win with one of my dogs!! I was shaking I was so excited! LOL. Then on Sun we had a repeat of the same, only this time there were 4 bitches in the class so her Reserve win was to a 3 point Major!! On Sat Birdie actually got second in her class of 5 Bred By Bitches, so we thought that was pretty good too! All in all it was a great weekend!

Our Debut in the Ring!

On Sat Jan 8th my Kennel Club hosted an all breed fun Match at the Polk Co Fairgrounds in Rickreall. This was Crystal and I's first venture into the ring. They didnt have "breed" classes so they put all the different age brackets of puppys in their own class (3-6 month, 6-9 month, 9-12 month, and 12-18 month), then all the Open, then all the Vetrans. Each of the above classes was devided Dogs and Bitches were judged seperate. There were about 14 dogs in the Open Bitches class and Crystal took 3rd in the class. I was SOO proud. She could use some work on the table but she did really great!

She was bred to a Ch bloodline male in mid Dec and we are hoping for puppies around Valentines day. We are planning to keep at least one real nice pup to show, and I hope to take Crystal to her first real show in the ealy summer.

Prego Crystal!

Our girl Crystal is due around Valentines Day 2005! These picts were taken of her Jan 19th. She still had 3 weeks to go!! She didnt want to "Stand" but with a tummy like that who could blame her. LOL.

This picture is of PJ the wonderful male that we bred her to. You can also see more picts of him, as well as his pedigree on Kim's web page, just follow the link below.

Another Fun Match Win!

On April 17th we took Crystal to a fun match down in Cottage Grove. It was sponcered by the Makinzie Cascade Dog Fanciers Club and was an AKC Sanctioned B match. Crystal took BOB in the Open class and a Group 2!! Not bad for only her second time in a ring! We plan to show her in a few more fun matches as she recovers from "puppy birth" and then we are considering entering her in some real shows.
