Illidan Stormrage soon after he escaped from prison and ran and called upon the beasts to help to escape to the north lands. The warden chased him along with killing many Illidans naga brethren. When the warden catches up with Illidan finding he is trying to steal the orb of gul’niel. Illidan soon realizing that the warden is not far behind waited for the warden. The person that has kept Illidan in prison for hundreds of years tells the warden the story of the "naga" race.
The "naga" were once "night elf" but they were cased under the ocean by the undead scourges archmage. Then in a flash Illidan is gone and blowing the place up to try to kill the warden. There what minuets seemed like years the warden runs out unharmed but the Warden has lost 20 of her great comrades. (Hours later at Malfurion Stormrages house) "Welcome young runner I suspect you have a message for me? (dawn of the day the dusk falls over ashenvale forest) Malfurion arrives with the ancient brethren.
