After communicating with the you about the specific paint job you want.
Or if you are wanting just some colors and want me to "come up with
something good" and the shell arrives.
I then remove any mold release agent that may still remain on the shell.
This is done so the paint will stick to the shell for the life of the shell.
Then I apply 'Bob Dively's Liquid Mask".
In my experience Dively's is the best out there. It does cost more
than the others but it is so worth it!
Once the liquid mask is dry i then draw then hand cut the lines.
When painting i use Createx and Fascolor paints. They are
alot better for making custom colors and almost
all my paint jobs have some custom colors in them.
When the paint is dry and cured in, i then back the job with a
high quality enamel. The purpose of this stage is to give the
paint better protection from the various chemicals we use that
can harm the paint.
