The History Of The Looney Tunes
|
The looney Tunes were from Warner Bros. In 1934 to 1943 the looney tunes
were produced in black and white. At this time the looney tunes theme
music was the "merry go round broke down." By Cliff Friend and Dave
Franklin. The first major star of the looney tunes was Bosko. But then
he moved over and a buddy took his place, so then thats when Porky Pig,
Daffy Duck, and Bugs Bunny was introduced. So there music and style was
mostly as a result of an imitation of the Disney style. By the 30's,
the cartoons on television became edgier and funnier. In the 1950's the
characters became more popular. The looney tunes theatrical series ran
from 1930 to 1969. The looney tunes were introduced to a new generation
of audience. In
1996 Space Jam a feature film mixing animation and live actions
was released. Starring Bugs Bunny and Michael Jordan, who at the time
was retired from basketball. They
also introduced a new character named Lala Bunny. In 2002 a new project
was aired to the television, Baby Looney Tunes. Although it was a
disappointment to the Box-Office. However
the television airings, revival theatrical screenings, and the Golden
Collection DVD. Box office has had the looney tunes and its characters
remained a part of Western Animation Heritage. |
