All About Us

Hi, my name is Kirstie and I am located near Thatcham on the Hampshire/Berkshire border after recently moving from Southampton. I still travel to Southampton/Winchester regularly as well as Gloucester so I am often able to help out with the transport of bunnies. I am a member of the BRC (British Rabbit Council). My stud prefix; Lookinglass, is registered with the BRC. I have owne rabbits ever since I was little but my passion for the french lop came when I went to buy a pet frenchie off a local breeder, Nicky. From that moment on, I was well and truly hooked! (and I ended up coming back with both Jack and Joules)!

I have now started to show my stock and am really enjoying it. I have decided to concentrate on mainly agouti, agouti butterfly, steel and steel butterfly in the french lops. I will always have a few other colours such as REW, black/black butterfly and blue/blue butterfly which seem to appear now and then. Nicky and I have now joined forces and have a joint stud of Chinchilla french lops. Nicky and I will also be undertaking a few projects: the Siamese Smoke french lop and the Chocolate french lop.  We are registered and show under Chintastic Stud. www.freewebs.com/chintasticstud

I have recently undertaken a new breed; The English Lop. Only on a small scale for the moment and I was very lucky to acquire such fantastic foundation stock.

My rabbits are first and foremost my pets and they are all spoilt rotten and therefore have wonderful temperaments and are all very friendly, which is how I think it should be. I do not breed to order but from time to time I am likely to have bunnies available so please feel free to contact me or check the for sale page. If I am unable to help you I may be able to put you in contact with somebody who can. All rabbits who leave here will be sold with enough food for the change over, pedigree and birth certificate and as much ongoing help and advice that is needed.
