When I found this, which I think explains Mabel’s lack of positive feelings toward Stanlaws it was these other actresses called him; “Silly, Crazy, Ignorant”. Mabel was lucky he only rip the heart out of her enjoyment of a dress her mother was going to make by 1923 when Stanlaws made his hit list Mabel was in a very fragile condition.
