Long Sault L.O.L. No. 764 meets in the village of Tyrone on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. All meetings are held in the Orange Hall and visitors are always welcome. Tyrone is located just north of Bowmanville and is easily reached by taking the Liberty Street exit from the 401 and following Liberty St. north into the village.
Orangemen have played an important and vital role in the history of Canada as a whole and also in the communities to which they belong. From our birth as a nation under the guidance of Sir John A. Macdonald, himself an Orangeman, to the stressful times in which Canada now finds itself the Orange Association has held fast to its principles.
The importance of religious, family and moral values have remained of primary importance to the individual Orangeman and through two world wars his loyalty to Canada was proven on battlefields throughout the world. In a society which today at times repeatedly scoffs at moral and religious values and brands principles such as loyalty and patriotism outdated, the members at Tyrone give the same reply that Orangemen have given for the past three hundred years.............No Surrender
