Welcome to Lone Oak Southeast Nebraska Horse Training and Rehabilitation
Myself and Porky a competative reining gelding.
Hi there, My name is Wendy Brown and I have dedicated my life to the Noble Horse. I have been training horses for 27 years. I work and train and excercise horses for a local gentleman who is dedicated to quality competative horses. I rehab and train horses owned by Lone Oak members as well.
You will find different things in this website such as Horse Training, including advice and tips, photos (another passion of mine), the progress of the horses I am rehabbing, horses that are for sale, and a page dedicated strickly to the things that irk me :)
Your input is very important to me, I want this website to be as enjoyable as possible. You are more than welcome to send me questions and with your permission I will post the question and answer on the "Training Tips Page". I am not a certified professional horse trainer so please be sure to ask plenty of other trainers the same question so that you can choose what technique works for you. If you see something that would better this site or if you have your own tips please feel free to share with me, it is always welcome.
I believe in having a well trained horse. I do not follow any certain training criteria, I simply use what works with each individual horse. I believe in putting miles and time on a horse but I do not believe in whipping or over exhausting a horse into submission.
So Welcome and Thanks for stopping by.........................
Honey Bunny and myself. This is a mare that was deemed untouchable.
