Here you can see the basic weapons found in the Land of Mystics.  There are far too many to list them all, but these are the more common weaponry in LOM.

The list below was written by Glomdryke.

Melee

Axe: A weapon that relies more on its weight than anything else. It's considered more of a cheap type of a weapon, and swords are held in higher regard. However, if one is incredibly strong, the use of the axe can be most effective.

Club: A VERY cheap type of weapon. Depending on its size, it can be very deadly, or just moderately dangerous. It's a weapon favored by thieves and ogres.

Dagger or Knife: A weapon that can be considered cheap or expensive, depending on what it's made of. It is more a thrusting type of weapon than anything. Can be most effective for cutthroats or thieves, as it is easily hidden. Also, it can be used as both a ranged weapon and a melee weapon. Very deadly, especially if the blade is curved in a proper manner.

Gudendag: Based on a peasant's hammer and is effective against armored knights. It can be adapted in various ways for extra effectiveness. (Usually the addition of spikes.)

Mace: A very effective weapon. Usually wood, reinforced with metal and containing a large ball at the end. This deadly weapon can kill without drawing blood.

Morning Star: Just like a mace, except with a spiked ball on the end to increase its effectiveness.

Quarterstaff: A weapon that is built for balance. It is usually held by placing one hand in the middle, and the other halfway in-between the middle and one end. It's a weapon much like the mace, in the aspect that it is crushing weapon.

Roundel: A stiff bladed dagger.

Sword: A bladed weapon, considered one the most formidable and expensive ones. It's effective when thrust, slashing, and even hitting with the hilt of it.

War Hammer: A crushing, and sometimes spiked weapon. It usually consists of a somewhat long handle, and a head.

Polearms

Halberd: A cheaply produced weapon, which consists of a long pole and an axe blade on one end. Usually, the axe blade has a spike on one side.

Lance: A weapon adapted from the spear, made mainly for mounted persons. It's usually a fairly cheap weapon, as it can be made out of simple wood.

Pike: Extremely long weapons that could exceed 6 metres in length. Most effective when used by foot soldiers defending against cavalry assaults.

Spear: A fairly cheap weapon. It consists of a shaft, (usually made of wood), and a pointed tip at the end. A fairly effective weapon when used correctly.

Ranged

Bow: A weapon used to propel an arrow with the elasticity or the bow and/or the string. Can be cheap or expensive, depending on the materials used.

Crossbow: A weapon used to propel a bolt forward as far as possible. Unlike the normal bow, the bolt does not depend on lift.

Siege

Ballista: Basically, it's a giant crossbow. The range wasn't as far as other siege weapons, due to the bolts not weighing near the weight of 200-300 pound stones.

Battering Ram: A weapon conceived for the sole purpose of opening castle doors.

Catapult: A siege engine that uses an arm to hurl a projectile an enormous distance. Usually, one is constructed during a siege. Armies carried few or no pieces around with them.

Siege Tower: A tower usually constructed during a siege, so that archers may come into range and fire upon the defenders of a castle. Also, it is used for combat fighters to rush into the castle.

Trebuchet: A siege weapon more accurate, but more complex than the catapult. A counterweight pulls it, causing the throw. The basket consists of a rope and whips across upon firing, adding to the velocity of the projectile.
