Tigger came into my life through my good friend Michelle (Chel) Townsend. His mum is Waggerland Josie and his dad Lydeardlea the Jazz Singer at Shamorel (Shamorel Border Collies).

I felt very privileged as I went to the vets with Chel and saw Josie’s scan and then when she went in for her cesar, we all waited round my house for the phone call from the vets and then we all went to see the pups about an hour after they were born.  I liked one straight away; half a white ear and half a white tail and never changed my mind all the way through and I called him Tigger; he’s certainly grown into his name as he is sooo bouncy!! I’d never had a puppy before as my other two dogs had been a year or 18 months when I got them so I had a very rude awakening with him! I was a bit worried about Holly and Tigger getting on, but as soon as he was in the house they were friends, in fact so much I felt a bit left out for awhile.

Tigger is a truly loving dog, has a wonderful nature and just wants to please, he loves to lean against you and being fussed, groomed and just likes to have contact.  He has complete drive for agility which is hard to contain sometimes .

All except one of Tigger’s brothers and sisters compete in agility. They are all very fast and have done very well. Sister Popi went advanced at the age of 2, Megan’s first place was 2nd in open agility, and brother Joe is half senior with some top novice placings.

I'm very proud to have him, even though there's been plenty of tears of frustration as he has so much drive for agility and its been hard to contain it and focus him.

Tigs also has a lot of relatives who compete in agility and are extremely successful.
