As mentioned before, I design and manage websites which I have done for a number of years. Below you will find some examples of websites I have authored.

I use a number of tools to aid me in Web Authoring, but primary amongst them are: Macromedia Dreamweaver MX, and Adobe Photoshop. I take great pride in my work, and believe if you're interest has not been caught within 30 seconds of visiting a website then the website is poorly designed.

Any website should live by some simple rules.

1: A website should be easy to navigate.

2: A website should be understandable and not cluttered with graphics and sounds as to make it an irritating experience.

3: A website should be visually appealing in some manner, which may become a theme for all of the website pages.

Of course, care should be taken with all content of your website. That could mean anything from spelling, punctuation and grammar, to; ensuring your graphics are clean, and don't take over the page detracting from any other elements.

It can often be a difficult task, taking many days or weeks to find the right balance for your website, but it's always a rewarding feeling when you're finished.

There is one other element that people rarely consider when designing websites. That of giving someone a reason to return. For example, a free game, free screensaver, a theme for their destop or other such 'gifts' Such items are always looked upon pleasantly and make for a more rewarding experience.
