So im not perfect at this..but i have a few song suggestions for solos/ensembles/whatnot. Maybe its not what you are looking for, and that is perfectly okay. This is just my style :)

- Gravedigger...Dave Matthews
A kind of dreary and really serious song but hey if thats what you are going for its great. It has some good pick ups and points in the music perfect for tosses and stuff like that.

- Twilight...Vanessa Carlton
Not very musical so it can be hard to count and its slow so if you are looking for a challenge. Its a pretty song especially if you are good with adding body and stuff. Not very distinct shifts but it has some high points that work good.

- Im moving on...Rascall Flatts
A pretty kind of sentimental feely song. I like it a lot really. It has a lot of meaning for lots of people lol. The music is also really good with transitions and high points! again! lol

- Satelite...Dave Matthews
A really happy musicy kind of song. The beginning is real instrumental and would fit some easy kind of dance stuff perfectly. It also has some good high points and definite shifts.

- Yellow (Acoustic)...Coldplay
Its acoustic so its really just a guitar and a singer lol. Its slow so i would tend to go with the words with the work lol which can be bad or good. Its a pretty song but the transitions arent that wonderful. Its worth looking into though.

- Blackbird...Sara McLaughlin
A nice kinda happy song. I love Sara McLaughlin lol so i like this one. The music doesnt have very good changes though from piece to piece..its kinda the same throughout so you might wanna try mixing it with something. Maybe im just not looking at it right :) Some people may find it easy to transition. I really like this song though :)

- Green Eyes...Coldplay
A kind of non intrumental, focus on the words kind of songs. With songs like this you really do have to focus on the lyrics and interpret them. I like it though its nice and if you are looking for something pretty try it.

- Have you Seen Me Lately (Acoustic)...Counting Crows
Starts out kind of...serious but it picks up to a real good beat and stuff. Its worth checking out i think you could really do something with it.

- I'll Be...Edwin McCain
Starts kind of slow and picks up, which is my favorite kind lol. It has awesome transitions and high points so it should be easy to write to!

- Nightblindness...David Gray
Another kind of acoustic one lol. Its slow and stuff but its really pretty. It doesnt have real good transitions or anything but the lyrics are great to write to...these kind of songs you really have to use your body and the equiptment to interpret it.

-I Shall Believe...Sheryl Crow
Okay, so im real into the pretty kinda slow songs. This one is realllly pretty lol at least i think so and the lyrics are pretty. Its slow though so body control and stuff like that is important. I dunno i kinda visualize it with a lot of held out movement kinda. The music doesnt change much but it does change I dunno, Check it out.

-Alone...Ben Harper
I think im doing this one for a solo this year. Its really serious but its fun to perform to at the same time. It has some high points and stuff but they arent extremely stand-outish. It kinda deserves a modern kind of lyrical movement style. I dont know, its just my kind of music! hehe
