The tomes  in The "Darius Trilogy"  are  uniquely written books.

They are fit as  bedtime stories  for youngsters, and are a great read for school aged children as well as adults.

In these Arthurian style tales, imaginations will soar through adventures with the young prince and many other fanciful characters.

L-M Owens has the ability to make her reader's senses come alive with her vivid writing.

Curl up with a hot cup of green tea and a copy of

 "Darius Prince of Legend"
&
"Darius Master of Dragons"

and immerse yourself in the fantasy world of wizards, castles and dragons.

For the second installment L-M Owens uses lots of colorful dialog between her characters to bring the story alive in the present tense compared to the narrative, past tense style of the first book.
*Book II of the Darius Trilogy is now available through the publisher, Amazon.com and Barnesandnoble.com.  The official release date for "Darius  Master of Dragons: Prince of Legend Book II" is April 2, 2009

The Kingdom of Scottshire has known peace and prosperity for generations, but change is on the wind.  A deal made between a wizard and a peasant girl unleashes a catastophic chain of events on the unsuspecting king and his people.  Caught off guard by an old enemy, the people of Scottshire are unable to defend themselves against a new and unconventional kind of warfare.  Under constant attack, King Adrik is faced with the horrible truth that he must abandon the search for his young son and concentrate on defending his kingdom.  The cost of war has diminished Scottshire's resources leaving the entire kingdom desperate for a savior.

After returning to his rightful place at Castle Owensdale, young Prince Darius goes to Alorah where he finds a mysterious envelope and discovers the extent of his powers, prompting him to embark on a quest to save the life of a dear friend.  The Prince then learns of a dark plot masterminded by the evil wizard Rydell which gives him and those around him a deeper understanding of whom and what he is.  Finally, when his dreams are once again interwoven with reality Darius and his dragons are lead into a perilous situation across the Helena Sea.
