Hello, my name is Mandy, I am the director of Lawrence Kids Academy!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
First off, I would like to mention that I have 2 children of my own and have had the experience of searching for the right day care for my children. I know it can be tough!
It's hard to be 100% certain that your child is in a safe place while you are at work. With that in mind, you have my word that your child will be treated as one of my own. I have been running my home daycare for over 3 years now and its still going strong!
I offer an environment that is safe, welcoming and fun! I have a full time assistant who is also a mother. So please rest assure your children are in safe hands.
We have a lot of structured fun. We laugh and play all day but children are also to taught from a young age how to be responsible and pick up after themselves and how to treat there friends how they want to be treated.
Touching The Future
I don't wear power suits,
make speeches,
or drive a fancy sports car.
I've never talked on a car phone,
made a big sale,
or been elected to the Senate.
I don't "do lunch",
have a big impressive office,
or carry a beeper.
I spend my days wiping away tears,
giving hugs,
and serving chicken nuggets.
A good day is when I go through a whole day
without a temper tantrum,
bite mark,
or a toilet training accident.
My "office" is a room full of brightly colored toys
and laughing children.
You may not think that what I do is very important
and you may even whisper behind my back
"What a waste of a good mind"
But I know better.
I make a difference
because I'm changing the world
one child at a time.
Everyday I'm getting the once in a lifetime chance
to touch the future.
I'm proud to say "I'm a child care provider".
