Support the Glasgow Eagles!

The Glasgow Eagles are a completely non-profit sports club (we have a world-class head coach who chooses to work for free) & they are also the only major basketball club in Glasgow, who will also be hosting the National Games 2005 next year.  The only problem is the club needs to raise £250 per PERSON just to enter the thing, with 5 teams of at least 10 for BB alone!  Before you throw your monitor out the window due to another online 'begger' please hear me out!  This is a club who's main squad is getting stronger by the week, 3 years ago we were in the Scottish Cup Final for the first time ever, yet that squad wasn't half as strong as the current 1!  We'd really appreciate any support offered with a small donation of $1 (it's through StormPay & unfortunately they currently only deal in US$)!  We are doing a lot of fundraising ourselves but we are no where near a third of the total required for the entry fee!

If. on the other hand you have a great website, product, or service you want the whole of Britain (at least) to hear about you can sponsor the club instead!  By sponsoring us you can be sure of HUGE exposure as not only do we intend to reach the final (if not win) but the Glasgow Eagles are running the Basketball section of the National Games 2005, PLUS we also control other sports entering the National Games 2005 including Powerlifting, Netball, possibly Football (Soccer) & a few others as well (we recently became "Glasgow Eagles - Multi-Sports"), which means we are able to utilize the situation & facillities BIG time to YOUR advantage!

EVERYBODY READ THIS!!

Just 1 thing to say to anybody who owns a PC, Mac, Laptop, etc...ALWAYS backup ALL the files on your system!  It's so easy to put it off and say "I'll do it tomorrow", but I learned the hard way that it should ALL have been done YESTERDAY!!  Failing to backup the files on my PC is 1 of the reasons I've got so many problems with it just now and I have no one to blame but myself!  I can't stress it enough, ALWAYS backup the files on your computer!  Technically it should be done before AND after EVERY new piece of hardware/software/etc is installed, but obviously that'll be a pain in the ASS, but not as big as the ASS you'll feel when it ALL GOES WRONG!!  Just make sure you do it regularly!
