- Introduction

This site is intended to show people that you really do not need loads of money to build a miniature railway locomotive.  The locomotive that shall be the centre of this site was built out of junk, and I mean junk.  The chassis was saved from the skip at the miniature railway I work at!  For the history of the prototype see the history link, if you are interested in how I built this piece of junk, see construction.  I will add to the site everytime I do some more work.  The name Livvy incidently is my cousins, all my locos are named after family members.  the real thing that Livvy is based on was a steam engine, whereas Livvy for simplicty is a battery (ex lorry) powered engine.  the motors are 2 ex-Sinclair C5 motors, if you have never heard of this vehicle, go onto the links page.  when finished Livvy will possibly appear at the great cockcrow railway on special charity events, posing as Toby the tram engine, and when i get more money, a model of henrietta will appear also.  if you do see me and Livvy in a siding, come over and say hello, i will gladly answer any questions you may have.  livvy will possibly be seen on the cockcrow during the 2007 season.

STOP NOW IF YOU'RE A FAN OF OVER DETAILED EXHIBITION QUALITY MODELS, THE LOCO IN THIS SITE IS NOT THAT, NO LOCO I EVER BUILD WILL BE LIKE THAT (personal taste)!

I have now run out of space on this site, so to see the latest pics of Livvy kindly visit my other locos site for more pics.
