4. These are the buffers. they are like shock absorbers and are usually sprung but this was built on a budget and so i made the buffers simple blocks. they are made of hardwood screwed and glued into the bufferbeam.

5. as you can see i have started to get the paint on. the bufferbeams and frames seemed logical to paint first so I did these first.
