Michael's Award Winning Chili

 

16 oz Tabasco chili recipe sauce

15 oz Diced Tomatoes

15 oz Chili Beans

1 large Portobello Mushroom (cut into 1/4 inch cubes)

1 lb Chicken Breast Tenders (cut into 1/4 inch cubes)

1.5 lbs Sirloin Steak (cut into 1/4 inch cubes)

2 tablespoons Hot Sauce (Franks is the best)

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

2 teaspoons garlic powder

2 tablespoons cayenne pepper

 

 

Combine chili sauce, tomatoes and beans in large crook pot.  Place heat setting on low.   Sauté' cubed mushrooms in skillet with butter.  Place sauted mushrooms into crook pot.  Brown chicken tenders in 1 tablespoon of olive oil.  Place browned tenders into crook pot.  Brown sirloin in 1 tablespoon of olive oil.  Place browned sirloin into crook pot.  Add hot sauce, garlic powder and cayenne pepper into crook pot and stir contents.  Cover and simmer 6-8 hours stirring occassionally.  Serve
