Hi and welcome to Livestock and Family Guardians, I starting looking for a dog to guard my goats after strays,lost or drop off starting killing my goats I had had enough so I looked in the news paper and found a anatolian shepherd and a great pyr. mix we when a pick one our and I brought the only little buck that I had left in the house and put him in a extra large kennel with the puppy I just bought and about 2 in the morning the pup(Angel) woke me up letting my know that she had heard something outside. I knew right then I had found what I had been looking for I was and still and sold on this breed. for us they are truly the best for guarding our livestock and family.
