Welcome to Littlewood Miniature Horse Stud...
Littlewood Miniatures was started 1995 when we attended the Royal Show in Hamilton. We started off with 6 geldings as the girls, Amber & Misty, along with Rex and myself wanted to show these wonderful little horses. Along the way we learnt what was suitable for the show ring and our most successful gelding was Marua Challenger who just taught us so much.
We then decided to start breeding once we moved to our 25 acre property in Ngaruawahia, just 15 minutes North of Hamilton. So it was now the time to purchase Glensway Fantoms Premier, who took us to the heights of miniature showing. That 1st supreme ribbon was so special and I will never forget that day, tears all round. The following show season Havoc started off on the same winning ways. He is now retired to stud and enjoys the comfort of the paddock.
Our aim is to enjoy our horses in the paddock and show ring along with meeting wonderful people in this world with a common interest, horses. Along with breeding the perfect miniature horse.
All our horses are NZMHA registered and AMHA registered where eligible.
