Description

The general idea is that Shaftebury has been commissioned by HM to perform a number of Labours similar to those of Hercules, because of an inscription found by Monumentalists:  “He who completes the 12 Labours (or however many)  will  restore Avalon to everlasting glory  .. “    Just as Hercules had to divert rivers to flush the Augean stables, Shaftesbury, at an exact moment of the Lunar cycle, is to release water in the Thames to flush out the Londerground sewers, home to Lucifer Hardlove’s evil empire.

The other factions are trying to stop him and divert the Thames for their own purposes:

The Prussians have been sent by Lucifer to stop Shaftesbury and divert the Thames to wash away Buckingham Palace and Her Majesty

The Nanarchists have become obsessed with hygiene and want to flush the streets of London and repopulate London with Catwomen (who as we know are constantly cleaning themselves)

The Wombaals are searching for the lost bones of the Pharoahs, which are buried under London somewhere.. they figure if they can get rid of most of London’s buildings, it will make their task much easier..  its also why they have enlisted the Dogmen’s help (to search  for the bones). Uses 28mm figures and scenery

Description

The Russo-Austrian alliance has been out-manoeuvred by Frederick and has been brought to battle. Frederick needs to achieve a rapid victory as he is, as always, heavily outnumbered. The scale of the units is battalion based so equates to Divisional level in Napoleonic terms, battalions are composed of around 30 figures in two ranks to give the ascetic value so required by the Seven Years War. Based loosely on the warmaster style of game it demands decisive action by the better led forces and encourages the use of historical tactics/formations.

Lots of nicely presented 18mm figures, hand painted flags, lovely scenery....what more could you want? (Ok there is even beer and coffee next door!)

Description

This is a replay of the Mexican assault on the Alamo 6 March 1836. In this game a brave band of Texians will be attacked by a veritable horde of Mexican infantry. The Texians will fight hard and die even harder as they cut down the Mexican attackers. Each game will go for 1.5 hours with Mexican losses being replaced until the last half hour in which case every Soldado lost is not replaced. The Texians will not enjoy this advantage and once they fall they are removed, however, they do have the advantage of being much better shots and having amongst them several heroes of renown such as David Crockett, Jim Bowie and WilliamTravis. At the end of the 1.5 hours there must be no Texans left active within the walls of he Alamo, if this does not happen they win the battle! The rules used are homegrown, very easy to master and well proven in numerous refights of this epic event. 28mm figures and buildings
